WASHINGTON (May 6, 2022) Marines conduct a relief and appointment ceremony for the official Marine Corps mascot at Marine Barracks Washington, May 6, 2022. Private Chesty XVI relieved Lance Cpl. Chesty XV of his duties as the official Marine Corps mascot. In attendance was Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro to congratulate the two mascots for their dedication to the Marine Corps.
