YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 28, 2022) Capt. Fred Goldhammer, commanding officer, congratulates Nile C. Kinnick High School's senior class on the flight deck aboard the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Kinnick's class of 2022 voted to have their class photo be taken aboard USS Ronald Reagan, as many of the students' parents are members of the crew. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
