SECNAV was a part of a wide-ranging discussion of Naval research, science and technology, and how the Office of Naval Research is moving forward to advance partnerships around the world and accelerate capabilities to the warfighter. The Honorable Mr. Del Toro was also briefed on the SCOUT initiative to provide direct warfighter support via the small, the agile and the many as well as a great discussion of the critical role played by ONR Global through the Science Advisors.
