ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 28, 2022) Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Casey Merrill shoots a shot line from the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117) to the Military Sealift Command Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS William McLean (T-AKE-12) for a replenishment-at-sea. Paul Ignatius is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
