NEW ORLEANS (April 21, 2022) Rear Adm. John Menoni, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group Two (ESG-2) gives the oath of enlistment to Future Sailors during Fleet Week New Orleans. The oath of enlistment is a military oath made by members of the U.S. Armed Forces when they initially join the U.S. military or reenlist. Fleet Week provides the people and media of the New Orleans area an opportunity to interact with Sailors and Marines, as well as see, firsthand, the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
