CHINCOTEAGUE BAY (April 12, 2022) Sailors assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 lift the nose cone of E-2D Hawkeye assigned to Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 120 during the salvage and recovery of the aircraft in Chincoteague Bay, Va. MDSU 2 is the Navy's premier East Coast diving and salvage unit, capable of providing skilled, capable, and combat-ready deployable forces around the globe to support a range of operations.
