ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 15, 2022) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117), front, and USS Nitze (DDG 94) transit the Atlantic Ocean, March 15, 2022. Paul Ignatius (DDG 117) and Nitze are currently participating in Task Force Exercise in the U.S. 2nd Fleet area of operations. TFEX serves as the certification exercise for independent deploying ships and is designed to test mission readiness and performance in integrated operations.
