Washington (Nov. 13, 2007) - Ms. Giao L. Phan is sworn in as the Coast Guard Deputy Director of Aquisition Programs by Vice Adm. Vivien S. Crea during a ceremony at Coast Guard Headquarters. Ms. Phan will report to Rear Adm. Ronald J. Rabago, Director of Acquisition Programs and Program Executive Officer of the Integrated Deepwater Program. The newly-created position will position both a flag officer and a senior executive service official to lead the Coast Guard's major acquisition of cutters, aircraft, small boats and C4ISR.
