PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 24, 2022) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Sheinina Ulama, from Farmington, Minn., assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), signals a UH-1Y Huey helicopter from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 on the ship’s flight deck. Green Bay, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
