ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 3, 2022) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 5 (HSC 5) deposits ammunition received from the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) onto the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) during a vertical replenishment, Feb. 3, 2022. George H.W. Bush provides the national command authority flexible, tailorable war fighting capability through the carrier strike group that maintains maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
