CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Jan. 27, 2022) Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro observes aircraft maneuvering from a CH-53K “King Stallion”, assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 (HMH-461), during a demonstration of Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO). EABO is a form of expeditionary warfare that involves the employment of mobile, low-signature, operationally relevant, and relatively easy to maintain and sustain naval expeditionary forces from a series of challenging environments. Del Toro is visiting Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune to meet with II Marine Expeditionary Force and its tenant commands to learn more about Marine Corps capabilities.
