MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Jan. 2, 2022) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ross (DDG 71), front, and USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) operate together as surface action group in the Mediterranean Sea, Jan. 2, 2022. Ross and Roosevelt are operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to maintain maritime security, and defend U.S., allied and partner interests in Europe and Africa.
