ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 5, 2021) Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Matthew Giveans, from Taylorsville, Kentucky, assigned to the "Rooks" of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 137, plugs in a tactical pod tester for an AOQ-99 tactical jamming pod to isolate discrepancies on an EA-18G Growler in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Harry S. Truman is operating as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
