GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Dec. 10, 2021) U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Francis L. Donovan, commanding general of 2d Marine Division (MARDIV), gives a speech in the USS Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall during a Navy boot camp graduation at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill., Dec. 10, 2021. Marines and Sailors with 2d MARDIV attended graduation after sponsoring Navy recruit division 012 during its 8-week basic training. During that time, representatives from 2d MARDIV visited multiple times to provide motivation, guidance and support to better acclimate recruits during their transition into the fleet.
