PEARL HARBOR (Dec. 8, 2021) Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro meets with Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118) before the ship's commissioning ceremony on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Dec. 8, 2021. Secretary Del Toro is in Hawaii for the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, a reinterment ceremony for unidentified remains from USS Oklahoma, the commissioning of Daniel Inouye and to meet with service members, DoD civilians and their families to discuss issues affecting the community.
