ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 4, 2021) U.S. Marines with the Maritime Raid Force, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) board the training support vessel Prevail (IX-537), a support ship for Command Carrier Strike Group 4 during a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) exercise, Dec. 4, 2021. The Maritime Raid Force, a support unit for the 22nd MEU and Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 6, is underway for Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (AMX) in preparation for a future deployment. ARG/MEU EX is the second at-sea period in the MEU's Redeployment Training Program, it aims to test the capabilities of the ARG/MEU team in a realistic paced threat environment.
