Valdes stands the starboard lookout watch on the signal bridge during a simulated deployment scenario in the Virtual Operator Trainer (VOT) at OS "A" School, Surface Combat Systems Training Command Great lakes on Dec. 2, 2021. This is the final objective before graduation; an immersive, four-day, team training exercise known as Capstone.
