PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Nov. 30, 2021) Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander U.S. Pacific Fleet, visited the Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy Cruise Training Task Group (ROKN CTTG) aboard the Chungmugong Yi Sun-si-class destroyer ROKS Wang Geon (DDH-978) during a port visit on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Paparo visited the Wang Geon to reaffirm and strengthen the partnership between the ROK-U.S. alliance and promote our shared values of democracy, freedom of navigation and maritime security.
