PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Nov. 30, 2021) Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander U.S. Pacific Fleet, returns a salute from the Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy Cruise Training Task Group (ROKN CTTG) aboard the Chungmugong Yi Sun-si-class destroyer ROKS Wang Geon (DDH-978) during a port visit on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Paparo visited the Wang Geon to reaffirm and strengthen the partnership between the ROK-U.S. alliance and promote our shared values of democracy, freedom of navigation and maritime security.
