PORT OF DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (Nov. 30, 2021) Chief Logistics Specialist Alvaro Gonzales from Pembroke Pines, Fla., supervises the loading of supplies aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) at the Port of Djibouti during a sustainment and logistics visit supported by Camp Lemonnier�s supply department. Michael Murphy is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean Sea and Pacific Ocean through the western Indian Ocean and the strategic choke points.
