SASEBO, Japan (Nov. 19, 2021) Sailors assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo's (CFAS) security department and servicemembers assigned to the Japan Ground Self Defense Force 16th Infantry Regiment coordinate training at the Incident Command Post as part of Guard and Protect 2021 at CFAS, Nov. 19, 2021. Guard and Protect unites U.S. Navy, JGSDF and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force to jointly protect vital U.S. Forces and JSDF facilities and civilian infrastructure in the Sasebo area.
