Jerry Martin, the dual status commander for the state of Alabama, thanks the U.S. Navy medical response team assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command during an awards ceremony at Dale Medical Center on the final day of the COVID-19 response operations in Ozark, Alabama, Nov. 8, 2021. The medical response team deployed from California and Washington in September to support the local community during the pandemic.
