SAN DIEGO (Nov. 4, 2021) Sonar Technician (Surface) 1st Class Justin Clancy, a Houston native assigned to the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), gives a tour of the ship to local San Diego students during Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) day, as part of Fleet Week San Diego 2021. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused platform designed to operate in near-shore environments, winning against 21st-century coastal threats.
