SASEBO, Japan (Nov. 6, 2021) The Royal Canadian Navy Halifax-class frigate HMCS Winnipeg (FFH 338) prepares to moor pierside at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo, Nov. 6, 2021. The Winnipeg's visit to Sasebo is a planned port visit as the ship operates in the Indo-Pacific region to support the implementation of United Nations Security Council sanctions imposed against North Korea and to take part in multi-national training with the U.S. Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
