OKINAWA, Japan (Oct. 26, 2021) U.S. Marines with 3d Landing Support Battalion build Southwest Asia huts during Exercise Amphitrite Galvanic onboard Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan. The U.S. Navy Seabees with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 worked with the Marines throughout the exercise to increase interoperability and advance regional security and stability. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening their alliances and partnerships, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
