SASEBO, Japan (Oct. 22, 2021) Laura Byler introduces Lt. Sean Bowen, assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), to his daughter for the first time during a welcome home ceremony at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS). Green Bay, part of Amphibious Squadron 11, returned to CFAS following an underway period operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
