Chief Petty Officer Assignment Optimization Commences
Senior Enlisted leaders from across the Navy gathered at Navy Personnel Command to discuss the Senior Chief and Master Chief Petty Officer assignment optimization across the Fleet initiated by NAVADMIN 202/21. This meeting aims to place E8 and E9 Sailors currently in billets that do not match their pay grades into critical billets throughout the Navy while also adjusting for gaps. The ultimate goal of these meetings will be to strengthen Navy warfighting readiness by getting the right senior enlisted Sailors in the right place where their leadership and expertise are needed most.
