INDIAN OCEAN (Oct. 10, 2021) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Black Knights of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 lifts off the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during a vertical replenishment-at-sea with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106), the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) and the Royal Australian Navy fleet replenishment vessel HMAS Sirius (O 266), Oct. 10, 2021. The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
