VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Oct. 7, 2021) A Sailor assigned to the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) greets his daughter following ships return to homeport. Carter Hall returned to its homeport at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Oct. 7, following a six-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and U.S. 6th Fleet areas of operation.
