ALAMEDA, Calif. (Oct. 3, 2021) Capt. Leo Albea, Director J8 Joint Functional Component Command and the Honorable Neil Frank Ferrer, Philippine Consul General, throw a ceremonial wreath from the stern of USS Hornet Museum at the conclusion of a ceremony to debut an exhibition celebrating Filipino American History Month. The exhibition will be on display until Oct. 31, 2021. The USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, uses collections, exhibitions and educational programming to promote awareness and understanding of history, science, technology, and service.
