PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 29, 2021) The Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) resupplies the Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Warramunga (FFH 152), in the Philippine Sea during MALABAR 21. The annual maritime exercise enhances planning, training and employment of advance warfare tactics between the Royal Australian Navy, Indian navy, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and U.S. Navy. As the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed fleet, 7th Fleet employs 50-70 ships and submarines across the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans. U.S. 7th Fleet routinely operates and interacts with 35 maritime nations while conducting missions to preserve and protect a free and open Indo-Pacific Region. (U.S. Navy courtesy photo)
