Robert "Barr" Kimnach III, commanding officer of Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), delivers remarks during a Bells Across America ceremony, Sept. 23, 2021, at Port Hueneme to recognize and honor Sailors who have fallen within the last 12 months and their families left behind. NBVC is a multi-dominant mission facility operating the world�s largest instrumented sea range. NBVC is home to Point Mugu, Port Hueneme, San Nicolas Island, Laguna Peak, the Pacific Coast Seabees, the West Coast Hawkeyes, three warfare centers, and 80 tenants.
