ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 7, 2021) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Anthony Salvo, assigned to the air department aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), directs an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 143 during flight deck certification. George H.W. Bush is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
