SAN DIEGO (Aug. 27, 2021) Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Jason Morris, Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego, Western Recruiting Region, visits the Emergency Department during a tour of Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Aug. 27. NMCSD operates a Naval Branch Health Clinic onboard MCRD San Diego to provide primary care and dental services to active duty personnel. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
