NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Aug. 24, 2021) Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 set up tents in preparation to receive evacuees from Afghanistan at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota. NAVSTA Rota is currently supporting the Department of Defense mission to facilitate the save departure and relocation of U.S. citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients and vulnerable Afghan populations from Afghanistan.
