NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Aug. 24, 2021) Sailors assigned to Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella help evacuees gather towels and soap at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella. As part of Operation Allies Refuge led by the U.S. Department of State, NAS Sigonella is currently supporting the Department of Defense mission to facilitate the safe departure and relocation of U.S. citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients, and vulnerable Afghan populations from Afghanistan.
