SOLOMON SEA (Aug. 4, 2021) A U.S. Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 prepares for takeoff aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), on Aug. 4, 2021. The MH-60S is a multi-mission platform allowing combatant commanders incredible flexibility in open-ocean and littoral operations. The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit is operating aboard ships of America Expeditionary Strike Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
