PORT HUENEME, Calif. (July 7, 2021) Dock workers prepare tie-down ropes as the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) passes the Surface Warfare Engineering Facility on its way to Wharf 5 at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division. Gridley is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer named after Capt. Charles Gridley, who commanded USS Olympia in the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish-American War.
