PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 13, 2021) Two MH-60S Sea Hawks, assigned to the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4, conduct flight operations during a replenishment-at-sea with the Louis and Clarke-class Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11). The “Black Knights”, embarked aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), are participating in Large-Scale Exercise (LSE) 2021, globally integrated training that demonstrates the U.S. Navy’s ability to deploy precise, lethal, and overwhelming force across three naval component commands, five numbered fleets, and 17 time zones.
