ROTA, Spain (Aug. 10, 2021) Capt. Kyle Gantt salutes Capt. Joseph Gagliano during the Commander, Task Force (CTF) 65 change of command ceremony at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota, Aug. 10, 2021. Gagliano was relieved by Gantt as commodore during a waterfront ceremony presided over by Vice Adm. Gene Black, commander of U.S. 6th Fleet. CTF 65 and Destroyer Squadron 60, headquartered in Rota, Spain, oversees the forward-deployed forces of U.S. 6th Fleet's area of operation in support of regional allies and partners as well as U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
