NORFOLK, Va. (Aug. 6, 2021) Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mahan (DDG 72) wave to the crowd of families at Naval Station Norfolk. Mahan, a ship of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (IKE CSG), returned to homeport in Naval Station Norfolk Aug 6., following a six-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and U.S. 6th Fleet areas of operation.
