Close Up: Naval Station Great Lakes “The Quarter Deck of the Navy”
210520-N-SI684-0001 Building 1 is an architectural landmark aboard Naval Station Great Lakes. Completed in 1911, the building is made of red brick, and has a clock tower that stands 300 feet over the third floor of the building.
