QUEENSLAND, Australia (July 26, 2021) U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment and Australian soldiers from 3rd Royal Australian Regiment load onto landing craft which will move them from King Beach in Bowen, Australia, to the HMAS Canberra (LHD 2), July 26, 2021. Amphibious operations provide a combined-joint force commander the capability to rapidly project power ashore in support of crisis response at the desired time and location.
