ATLANTIC OCEAN (August 4, 2021) U.S. Navy Electronics Technician 3rd Class Lane Taul, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24), trains Midshipman 2nd Class Taylor Pollock, a student at the United States Naval Academy, on how to adjust the high-frequency radio group aboard the Arlington while Arlington participates in Large Scale Exercise (LSE) 2021. LSE 2021 demonstrates the Navy’s ability to employ precise, lethal, and overwhelming force globally across three naval component commands, five numbered fleets, and 17 time zones while merging live and synthetic training capabilities that help create a dynamic training environment. LSE 2021 will connect high-fidelity training and real-world operations to build knowledge and skills needed in today’s complex, multi-domain, and contested environment.
