ARABIAN SEA (July 25, 2021) The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) sails in formation with Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Cesar Chavez (T-AKE 14) during a vertical replenishment in the Arabian Sea. Ronald Reagan is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Pacific Ocean through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
