SAN DIEGO (July 20, 2021) Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11 sail in the San Diego Bay aboard a 34-foot Sea Ark patrol boat as part of sea trials during Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG) 1's Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV). The primary mission of MESF is to conduct maritime security operations across all phases of military operations by defending high value assets, critical maritime infrastructure, ports, and harbors both inland and on coastal waterways against enemies and when commanded conduct offensive combat operations.
