VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (July 12, 2021) Sailors assigned to the "Screwtops" of Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 123 on Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana walk towards their families during the squadron's homecoming. VAW-123, part of Carrier Air Wing 3 embarked on USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), returns to NAS Oceana after a regularly scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet.
