NORFOLK (June 30, 2021) Lt. Cmdr. Stu Whipkey speaks with German Minister of Defense Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), one of the 10 Nimitz-class aircraft carriers. The purpose of the visit was to engage with military leadership and tour U.S. Navy platforms to showcase Sailors and the credible firepower the Navy contributes to global stability and prosperity.
