David Faehnle, commanding officer of Camp Lemonnier, tours the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS William McLean’s (T-AKE-12) pilothouse, June 21, 2021. McClean arrived at the Port of Djibouti to pick up supplies and invited Faehnle aboard to get acquainted with the ship and its mission. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
