PACIFIC OCEAN (May 26, 2021) A Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5 conducts amphibious operations, May 26, 2021. The amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) is underway as a part of the Essex Amphibious Group (ARG) conducting integrated training with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) off the coast of southern California.
